TECUMSEH, OK (KSWO)- A woman found inside the car with the suspect accused of killing a Tecumseh police officer has now been charged with murder.

Officials say Brooklyn Williams was driving the car the night Tecumseh Police officer Justin Terney was shot and killed. The suspect, Byron Shepard is believed to be her boyfriend.

She told investigators the night before the shooting, Shepard stayed at her house and gave her meth. She knew there were warrants out for his arrest.

Because of that, she was arrested for harboring a fugitive last month.  But this week, the Pottawatomie County District Attorney's office filed a second-degree murder charge against her.
