MCALESTER, OK (KSWO)- Afghan officials are now saying that more than 30 ISIS militants were killed in a massive US strike. It used the most powerful non-nuclear weapon in the US arsenal, known as the "Mother of All Bombs." It targeted a system of tunnels and caves used by ISIS fighters.

There's a strong possibility the massive bomb that hit Afghanistan may have been made right here in Oklahoma. One is even on display at the McAlester Army Ammunition Depot. Ordinance of all shapes and sizes are manufactured, including munitions used in the war on terror. However, the military will not confirm what kind.

"What we are doing here is directly related to absolutely what happens around the world every day. I think for the first three months I was here I spent every day going 'Wow, I get to be in charge of that too?'" said Col. Sean Herron, the Depot Commander.

The depot first went into operation in the 1940's. Today it employs about 1,400 Army civilians in McAlester.
