Arvest hosts Put a Fork in Hunger donation drive to help local food banks

LAWTON, OK (KSWO)- Arvest Bank is working to fight hunger in Southwest Oklahoma. All day, Arvest associates held the ‘Put a Fork in Hunger’ donation drive. It's part of the bank's annual One Million Meals Initiative that will benefit five local food banks.

Every donation puts them one step closer to reaching their ultimate goal.

"Our goal is to raise and provide one million meals across a four-state area. Over the last six years, we've raised 9.6 million meals so we're excited to exceed 10 million this year,” said Angela Spradlin, the marketing manager at the Arvest in Lawton.

If you missed the drive today. you have more chances to donate food or money for the ‘Put a Fork in Hunger’ drive. Arvest will be at Chickasha's Walmart on Friday, April 21st and Duncan's Walmart again on May 26th. Donations can also be made any time between now and June 3rd at any of Arvest's 9 locations across Southwest Oklahoma.
