DEL CITY, OK (KSWO)- The bond for an Oklahoma school bus driver accused of having sex with a 14-year-old student has been set at $75,000.

It happened in Del City. The 35-year-old suspect admitted that he knew the victim was underage during their relationship. She was one of the students on his bus route.

Police say three students reported it to the principal of Del Crest Middle School.

The suspect began driving a bus for the district in October. Authorities say he confessed after they found evidence of the pair's relationship on social media accounts.

The school district says the suspect passed his background checks before he was hired, and police said he had no previous run-ins with the law. The suspect has since been fired from the district and arrested.
