NORMAN, OK (KSWO)- The Norman Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a University of Oklahoma student.
Nathaniel Ewing, 20 of Iowa Park, was found just before 11:00 p.m. on April 23 in a parking lot of an apartment complex with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
According to police, Ewing and another individual were robbed by two black males in the parking lot of the apartment complex. During the incident, two shots were fired. The other individual fled the scene and was not injured. The two suspects drove away in a light-colored sports utility vehicle.
Ewing was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries this morning.
Investigators have identified a person of interest. However, no arrests have been made at this time.The incident remains under investigation.
