Two arrested for alleged kidnapping and murder of woman in Seminole County

SEMINOLE, OK (KSWO)- Two people have been arrested by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department and OSBI for 1st degree murder and kidnapping.

According to investigators, on April 17th, Matthew Onesimo Armstrong and Nicholas Earl Faulkner tied a woman to a tree in a wooded area in Seminole County. The men believed the woman had stolen drugs and money from Armstrong and hidden them in the woods.

Nichole Owl was shot several times. Police say Armstrong, Faulkner, and a third individual buried Owl near where she was shot. The third individual reported the crime to police the following day.

OSBI crime scene agents and archeologists with the medical examiner’s office and the University of Oklahoma excavated Owl’s body on April 19th.

Armstrong and Faulkner were arrested at Armstrong’s home in Wewoka. Armstrong’s father, Jimmy Armstrong, was also arrested at his home for possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction. Matthew Armstrong borrowed the gun from his father he used to kill Owl.
