NORMAN, OK (KSWO)- We are learning more about the suspects in the shooting death of an OU student from Iowa Park, Texas.

According to the Oklahoma Court System Network, one of the four suspects has three felonies including burglary and concealing stolen property. Another suspect has charges of possession of marijuana and trying to sell paraphernalia.

The other two suspects have not been named as they are both 17 years old.

Nathaniel Ewing, 20, was shot during a robbery attempt in the parking lot of a Norman apartment complex Sunday night. Investigators say he died from his injuries in a hospital the next morning.

Ewing's family and friends say they are thankful that his missing dog has been found. His friends said he had his dog with him on the night of the shooting. They shared photos of his pet online in hopes of finding it.

Someone who lived in the apartment complex where the shooting happened managed to reunite the family with the missing dog.

"We've been trying hard the last 48 hours. We can't do much for anything else, but we knew this was the one thing we could fix,” said Ryan Putnam, a friend of Nathaniel.

The woman who found the dog said her child had found it outside their apartment. She said she did not know it was missing. An Oklahoma City station happened to be reporting on the missing dog when they said the woman told them she had found one that looked just like it.
