Jefferson County Sheriff's Office arrests man suspected of sexual assault in Ryan

JEFFERSON COUNTY, OK (KSWO)- The Jefferson County Sheriff's office has apprehended a rape suspect in the Ryan area.

Yesterday afternoon, the sheriff’s department received an emergency call that an adult female was found wearing no clothing in Ryan. She told police that she was sexually assaulted.

Charles Ray Richey has been booked into Jefferson County Jail for the crime. He was apprehended after a caller called in a tip about a man walking on a dirt road between Ryan and Waurika.
