LAWTON, OK (KSWO) - Two men who are suspects in a homicide in Los Angeles are now in the Comanche County jail after the FBI hunted them down to an apartment here in Lawton.

Marquice Joseph and Derrick Beamon are in jail waiting to be extradited back to Los Angeles. They were taken into custody from an apartment in Lawton on Southwest Beta Avenue on Friday. They are wanted as suspects in the murder of a man on April 6.

In an affidavit, officials say two black men walked up to the victim and shot him multiple times. Joseph was identified as the shooter, and Beamon was with Joseph at the time of the shooting.

Investigators found the two after they logged on to their Instagram accounts. The I-P addresses and cell signals placed them at that apartment in Lawton. Investigators also found evidence that the suspects took a Greyhound bus to Lawton a few days after the homicide.
