FAXON, OK (KSWO)- If you are looking for something spooky to do this weekend The Faxon Forest of Fear is just the thing.
You'll walk through a ten minute trail filled with scary attractions, ghosts, and dead bodies.The trail started three years ago to help raise money for local charities who work with animals. About 15 volunteers help put the Forest of Fear together each year. In the month of October they've had over 200 visitors walk through.
Creator Leon Sheall said his goal was to make this one of the scariest attractions in the area.
"We've had people fall on themselves because they got scared, we had other people go running because it go to scary...a lot of people find it really really scary," said Sheall.
The Faxon Forest of Fear will be open Friday night and continues through the weekend from 8 p.m. until midnight.
It cost $10 for adults and $5 for children under 13.It is not recommended for children under 10.
