OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK (KSWO)- A nurse who was working at the Oklahoma County jail is accused of performing an exorcism on an inmate who died the next day.
An autopsy revealed that the inmate's death was the result of heart trouble due to meth use. The nurse was called in when the inmate was having some sort of seizure.
Sheriff's officials say that during the OSBI's investigation into the death, a jail guard told them about the exorcism. Now the sheriff's office has turned over the findings of their own investigation to the district attorney's office.
So far, the nurse is not facing any criminal charges, but she is no longer working at the jail.
