Local representative resigns from Oklahoma House

OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok (KSWO) - Representative Scott Biggs has resigned from his seat in the Oklahoma House.

Biggs sent a letter to House Speaker Charles McCall saying his resignation would be effective immediately. In the letter, he says his resignation will be effective immediately due to him accepting a federal appointment.

Biggs represents parts of southwest Oklahoma including: Alex, Blanchard, Bradley, Bray, Bridge Creek, Central High, Chickasha, Duncan, Marlow, Newcastle, Ninnekah, Tuttle, Velma.
