CEMENT, OK (KSWO)- The Nutrition Site in Cement is in danger of closing its doors unless more seniors seek their assistance.
A hearing will be held on November 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cement Nutrition Site to inform the community about the potential closure.
In July, the Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments learned the nutrition site failed to meet the minimum state standard of serving at least 25 meals per day.
If meals are not increased to that number by December 31, the Cement Nutrition Site will close. All Cement seniors ages 60-years or older are encouraged to attend the center for lunch every day.
