Apache Casino presents checks to help hurricane victims

LAWTON, OK (KSWO)- More than $8,000 will be sent to hurricane victims down south thanks to the Apache Casino Hotel.

The American Red Cross was given a check for about $4,800 and about $4,000 was given to the Salvation Army. The money was raised by Apache Casino Hotel visitors and staff.

“It's our way to help the people that were devastated down south,” said Apache Casino Hotel’s General Manager George Bozier.

Bozier went on to say the Red Cross and the Salvation Army have both done such great work and the Apache Casino Hotel will remain conscious of the need down south.
