Duncan Pancake Day supports Gabriel’s House

DUNCAN, OK (KSWO)- If you're looking for a good breakfast that also supports a good cause, the First United Methodist Church in Duncan is having its annual Pancake Day today!

The breakfast will go from 7:00 to 7:00. There'll be all you can eat pancakes, bacon, sausage, orange juice, milk, and coffee -- all for just $7.

The money raised will go to Gabriel's House in Duncan, Soul Sunday -- a joint operation between First United Methodist Church and Saint Paul's United Methodist Church that provides shoes for children in school-- and the Beautiful Day Foundation of Stephens County.

Church member David Dowell says this event is a win-win for all.

“It's a way that we can share a little bit of what goes on in the community with what we get here in the church.”

Church officials say they've already sold about 1,000 tickets.

Again, the breakfast buffet runs from 7:00 to 7:00 at First United Methodist Church, located on North Country Club Road in Duncan.
