DUNCAN, OK (KSWO)- A Duncan woman who admitted to marrying her mother last year has been handed down a 10-year deferred sentence and mandatory counseling. Misty Spann was sentenced in a Stephens County courtroom this week.

PREVIOUS STORY: Duncan mom & daughter arrested for incestuous marriage

Court records show Spann married her mother, Patricia Spann in March 2016 in Lawton. The marriage was annulled last month -- after a judge ruled her mother had induced her daughter into the marriage by fraud.

Incest charges against Patricia are still pending. Her case has been delayed until January. Court records also show Patricia also married one of her sons in 2008. That marriage was annulled in 2010.
