Two separate accidents on Nov 7th claim 3 lives

OK (KSWO)- Two separate car collisions on November 7th resulted in the loss of three lives.

One life was claimed in a fatal collision at 7:30 p.m. on November 7 on US Hwy 62 approximately 8 ½ miles west of Altus.

Carolyn Sue Kelly, 74 of Hollis, was pronounced dead at a hospital. The three other occupants of the vehicle were not seriously injured.

The driver of the other vehicle was also not injured. However, he was pinned in the vehicle for about 30 minutes.

Two lives were taken during another crash on November 7th. Just before 5:00 p.m., a fatality collision occurred State Highway 44 and County Road 1370, 4 miles west of Hobart.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection. The driver of a 2002 Chevy Impala, 23-year-old Alvin Gomez, was taken by helicopter to an area hospital with trunk and head injuries.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle, a 2014 Jeep, were pronounced dead at the scene. According to OHP, Diana Apt, 59, and a 15-year-old female were taken from the scene to a funeral home.

The cause of this collision is also under investigation.
