Copeland sentenced to 46 years

LAWTON, Ok (KSWO) -

A Lawton man received his sentence for his role in the shooting of two brothers.

Victor Copeland pleaded guilty in September to four felony counts including shooting with intent to kill but was acquitted of second-degree murder.

Copeland was charged with shooting two brothers, Robert and Allen Anderson, in 2014, Allen died from his injuries.

The jury recommended he receive 46 years and the judge on Monday followed their recommendation.
