Comanche County woman charged after kidnapping

COMANCHE COUNTY, Ok (KSWO) -

A Comanche County woman has been charged in the kidnapping of a child in Apache.

Jessica Pewo was arrested on November 5th after law enforcement responded to a home on Lakeview Avenue after a report of an abducted child. The homeowner told them Pewo had taken the child.

Pewo and the child were found walking down a nearby street. The child had minor cuts but no other serious injuries.

Pewo is being held on $50,000 bond. Her next court appearance will be next month.
