Former Mo' Betta building collapses in Apache

A historic building in downtown Apache has collapsed.

The building was previously the home to the Mo' Betta clothing company but has recently been vacant. The company sold the building years ago and it was used as a salon before sitting vacant. Residents told us the roof had caved in years ago and that caused the remaining structure to weaken, leading to today's event.

The building was one of the original structures built in the early 1900s.

No one was injured when the wall fell late on Tuesday afternoon. Crews are assessing the safety of the buildings connected to the building to ensure the safety of those structures.
