Federal, local agencies announce indictments in connection with two drug traffic networks

    A task force made up of multiple law enforcement units across North Texas made multiple raids Thursday morning leading to 22 arrests of people they suspect traffic drugs in Texoma.

(WICHITA FALLS, TX) - Several local and federal law enforcement officials came together for a press conference in Wichita Falls on Thursday. 

Officials with the FBI, U.S. Attorney's Office, DPS, WFPD, WCSO, Vernon PD and the Hardeman Co. District Attorney's office were at the U.S. District Court House for an indictment and criminal complaint.

U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Erin Nealy Cox said two drug traffic networks operating in North Texas, including Texoma, have been dismantled. 

37 suspects have been arrested in the past several days, according to Cox. Officials said 22 were arrested on Thursday morning in Wichita Falls, Vernon, Electra, Iowa Park, Abilene, Dallas, Texarkana, Horseshoe Bay, and Michigan. 

One suspect was already in state custody and two are at-large. Both operations involved the distribution of methamphetamine and heroin.

A federal indictment charges 13 Wichita Falls residents in one of the two drug conspiracies. Below is a list of the suspects that have been arrested in connection with this indictment.
