LAWTON, Ok (RNN Texoma) - Lawton Police arrested a man after responding to a shots fired call on Monday night.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of Jesse L Davenport just before 10:00 p.m. on shots fired in the area. They made contact with Brandon "BJ" Adams, who matched the description given by dispatch. He also goes by the aliases Raza Blade and Baby Blade. Adams told the officers that he had warrants out for his arrest.
Adams had two felony warrants out of Comanche County. One warrant was for Failure to Appear, on an original charge of Possession of Firearm after Previous Adjudication with a bond of $50,000.00. The second warrant was for three counts of Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon, one count of Gang Related Offense and one count of Possession of Firearm after Former Felony Conviction, with a bond of $100,000.00.
According to court documents, Adams shot two people outside of Chung's Korean Restaurant and bar on July 15th. Court documents say Adams was refused entrance to the business. He was seen firing a pistol. One victim was shot in the chest and another was hit in the calf. Both were treated and released from Comanche County Memorial Hospital.
Adams is set to appear before a judge in October for a preliminary hearing.
