Stephens County bust at two homes reveals meth labs, marijuana and drugs

Posted:
STEPHENS COUNTY-The Stephens County Sheriff's Department made two big drug busts Friday morning. Deputy Rodney Richards says search warrants were served on the properties of Michael Turner and Bradlee Phillips.  Deputy Richards said the two men fled from police and are still on the run. Richards says the homes were full of guns, marijuana and had two operating meth labs. Richards says the Nik Green Law, which keeps pseudoephedrine behind the counter and is aimed at keeping it out of the hands of meth makers, has slowed down the production of meth, but has not stopped it. He says Stephens County is the core for production and distribution of meth in southwest Oklahoma and north Texas. Richards says they are still on the lookout for Phillips and Turner and are in the process of getting federal warrants for them.
