Benefit bowling tournament

LAWTON-- Every child deserves a merry Christmas. For the last three, years local and regional bowlers have made that come true for kids at the J. Roy Dunning Children's Shelter in Lawton.

Sunday, bowlers continued the holiday tradition for the fourth straight year at Thunderbird Lanes. Vic Karbowski, "Being the fourth year, it's the biggest tourney we've ever had. We've got 69-70 bowlers coming everywhere from Texas, Wichita, and it's all to raise money for the J. Roy Dunning Children's Shelter."

Karbowski says the bowlers also raise money through auctions and raffles.
