MCALESTER, OK-- Nearly a week after a brutal blast of winter began marching across the nation, tens of thousands of people are still without power.
Power lines remain coated with ice in Oklahoma. In hard-hit McAlester, supplies are running low at Becky Clayton's EZ Mart and Deli, one of the few restaurants and stores that have been able to stay open.
Nearly one-thousand crews from four states are working to restore power in McAlester. Throughout Oklahoma, 74,000 customers still don't have power.
The forecast calls for another barrage of up to eight inches of snow in the plains by tomorrow night.
Since the storms began last Friday, 65 storm-related deaths have been reported in nine states.
