FREDERICK, OK-- The investigation continues into problems at a Frederick nursing home that was forced to move all its residents and shut down. Authorities tell 7 News it could take up to a year to complete the investigation into what went on at Winlen Oaks more than 3-weeks ago.
Since 7 News broke the story we have learned two people have died since being moved elsewhere. Former workers at Winlen Oaks tell us the change may have been too much for them.
7 News has also learned that many workers at the home have yet to be paid. Several former employees have sent requests to the labor board, in hopes of getting paid someday.
