LAWTON-- Folks in one Lawton neighborhood are shocked someone would want to hurt a goose that has made their private lake its home.
Neighbors called 7 News after they noticed someone shot the goose with a bow and arrow. You can still see the arrow, sticking out of its back.
Folks say this goose and another has lived on the private lake in Grayson Mountains Estates for years.
So far, animal control officers have been unable to catch the goose to treat it.
Still no word on who might have hurt the animal. The Comanche County game warden says shooting a goose is punishable by at least three different charges.
