STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Kyle Mach singled in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning as Missouri finished off a 3-game sweep of Oklahoma State today with a 7 to 4 win in Stillwater.
After Mach's single, the Tigers capitalized on two Oklahoma State errors in the sixth to build on their lead.
Cowboys reliever Justin Friend committed an error on a pickoff attempt to allow John McKee to score from third. The Tigers then added two more runs on a single by Brock Bond that was misplayed by left-fielder Ty Wright.
Missouri starter Ian Berger gave up four runs in six innings to move to 5-1 on the season. Greg Folgis earned his second save as three Tigers relievers each pitched one scoreless inning of relief.
Martin Beno took the loss in relief after giving up Mach's single.
Missouri heads into next week's Big 12 tournament as the second seed and will face Oklahoma in the first round. Oklahoma State is the third seed and will open the tournament against Baylor.
