UNDATED-- The state's forecast probably sounds familiar. Cloudy skies and scattered showers are expected across the state for the rest of the week as a moist airmass looms over much of Oklahoma.
A flood watch remains in effect through this afternoon for much of central and south-central Oklahoma, which received heavy rains over the Memorial Day weekend.
SkyWarn 7 Meteorologist Kim Truong says a few thunderstorms will continue to roll through North Texas throughout the day, south winds will transport moisture into Texoma. That will translate to a warm, humid and cloudy day.
Cooler air is not too far off. The leading edge of the cooler air will arrive in Southwest Oklahoma late tomorrow night, bringing a chance for strong thunderstorms early Thursday morning. The front will stall out just north of the Red River. Several impulses of energy will ride along the front, keeping the chance for rain in the forecast through the weekend.
