Duncan--Car burglars hit more than a dozen cars in a Duncan neighborhood in a single night. Police say they also stole a pickup truck and abandoned it in Lawton. Investigator Donnie Foraker says elaborate, high-dollar items were taken such as a laptop computer, a stereo system, and computer games. The burglars even got a mini motorcycle from under a carport.
Foraker thinks it was the work of more than one person. He says if the burglars didn't steal anything out of a car, they either vandalized it or stole the vehicle itself.
Foraker said the owner of the pickup had left the keys in it, and that made it an easy target for the burglars. Police connected the pickup truck to the burglaries after they found receipts and other items reported stolen from the neighborhood in the truck.
Foraker says at this point no one saw the burglars in action. So police are asking for your help.
