Witness information sends Comanche Co. investigators back to murder scene

Comanche County--A witness sheds new light on a recent murder case west of the Lawton city limits.  That witness contacted the sheriff's office with information that may link the man they have in custody to James Dubose's murder.  Dubose was found shot to death last week behind the Night Trips club.

Sheriff Kenny Stradley says the witness saw a suspicious person jump a nearby bridge's rail along the highway just south of the club.  The sheriff and his investigators spent the afternoon searching the sides of the road for evidence and the weapon, but turned up nothing.

That witness also said that person got in a car with someone and took off.  The sheriff believes the man the witness is talking about is the man they've had in custody since Saturday.

A murder charge is expected Wednesday.  Another suspect could be named as well.
