Altus_Police in Altus continue their investigation into an armed robbery that took place over the weekend. It happened at the GNC store on North Main Street Sunday afternoon.
According to police, a white man in his mid-twenties came into the store and handed the clerk a note. It said he had a gun. The clerk gave him all the cash in the register. The suspect then tied up the clerk and put her in the store room.
He was reported as wearing a long sleeved purple and green plaid shirt and a dark brown ball cap with an "A" on it. Police say he threw the shirt and hat into the trash at the United Grocery Store. He is also said to have a tattoo on his neck by the collarbone.
