Officials at Fort Sill continue their investigation this morning into the death of a soldier. It happened during a training exercise.
Officials say the soldier was with Battery "A", 1st Battalion, 40th Field Artillery. He was undergoing basic combat training at the post's east range.
The soldier was first taken to a troop medical center, then to Comanche County Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The soldier's name has not been released. Army officials say they are in the process of notifying his family. Again, the investigation continues into the soldier's death.
Investigations are continuing around Parliament, but lawmakers are expected to go ahead with plans to reconvene in a show of solidarity.
