Young Lawton man loses life after driving drunk

Meers_The Oklahoma Highway Patrols says a young Lawton man was drunk when he rolled his car near Meers just after 4 a.m. Saturday. OHP says 22-year-old Timothy Evans of Lawton was driving on Meers' Porterhill Road when he veered to the shoulder of the road, over corrected, struck a ditch, and rolled his vehicle.

OHP says Evans was pinned in the car for over an hour. He died at the scene from massive injuries. Investigators report Evans was drunk, and was not wearing a seatbelt. Count on 7News to keep you updated.
