Oklahoma sets school defensive record in 64-37 rout of Texas A&M

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma held Texas A&M to 10 first half points as the Aggies went scoreless for more than 16 straight minutes and OU rolled to a 64-37 win in Norman this afternoon.

Longar Longar had 14 points and eight rebounds as the Sooners snapped a 2-game losing streak and improve to 19-10 overall and 7-7 in the Big 12. A&M falls to 21-8 and 7-7 in the league.

The Aggies took a 10-9 lead on a DeAndre Jordan dunk with 12:50 left in the first half but didn't score again until the 16:42 mark of the second half.

OU led by as many as 29 and the Sooners set a school record for the fewest points allowed against a Big 12 opponent.

Austin Johnson and Blake Griffin each added 13 points for Oklahoma while Jordan and Josh Carter lead Texas A&M with 10 points each.
