NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Brittainey Raven scores 16 points and Texas prevents 10th-ranked Oklahoma from tying for first place in the Big 12 Conference standings by upsetting the Sooners 65-50 today.

The Longhorns picked up a crucial win in their bid to make it back to the NCAA tournament by handing OU its first home loss to an unranked opponent since Southern Methodist beat a 15th-ranked Sooners squad 71-68 on December 21st, 2002.

It was Texas' second straight Big 12 road win after starting conference play 0-6 outside of Austin.

Texas forced a season-high 27 turnovers by the Sooners and prevented OU from using its usual formula for overcoming sloppy play by building a 43-33 advantage on the boards. It is only the second time this season that OU has been outrebounded.

Courtney Paris extended her double-double streak to 88 games by scoring 17 points and pulling down 15 rebounds, and Danielle Robinson added 10 points for OU.
