NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Austin Johnson scores 18 points and Blake Griffin adds 14 points and eight rebounds while making another early return from an injury as Oklahoma clinched a first-round bye in the Big 12 Conference tournament with a 75-66 win today against Missouri.

OU is 21-10 overall and 9-7 in Big 12 play while Missouri falls to 16-15 and 6-10.

It was an important win for OU, which sealed the fourth seed in next week's conference tournament and finished above .500 in Big 12 play.

No team has made the NCAA tournament with eight Big 12 losses.

Griffin was expected to be out until the postseason following knee surgery six days ago, but his early return wasn't a surprise. He was expected to miss four weeks after injuring his other knee earlier in the season, and instead was back on the court 12 days later.
