Victims in Arkansas River bridge accident identified

Little Rock_The three construction workers - one killed and two presumed dead - after a platform collapsed from a bridge above the Arkansas River have been identified.

The men were employed by Oscar Renda Contracting Inc. of Roanoke, Texas. The company identified 2 of the men, who were still missing Friday, as Juan Flores and Eleazar Lopez. Both lived in Dallas but were working on a waterline project at the Interstate 430 bridge between Little Rock and North Little Rock.

A third man whose body was pulled from the river was identified as Wulfrano Ruiz of Irving, Texas. Ruiz's body was found Wednesday night, about eight hours after the accident.

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has taken over the accident investigation.

Renda Contracting says it is working closely with the victims' families.
