Fort Sill_Early Monday morning, a group of soldiers made their first stop on the way home from Iraq. Hotel Battery, 26th Field Artillery Regiment and the 164th Quartermaster group received a hero's welcome at Fort Sill.
According to a report released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, the number of Oklahomans who died due to the flu this flu season has risen to 84. The increase of 16 deaths in the latest report occurred at the end of January to the beginning of February for the most part. The delayed reporting is due to late reports received by state concerning flu-related deaths. According to officials, none of those deaths had a positive flu test during the past week.

A woman suspected of driving three teens to an Oklahoma home where they were shot to death during a suspected home invasion has now confessed to planning the robbery that ended in those teen's deaths. It happened in Wagoner County. The man who shot the three teens has not been arrested as police are working to determine if he acted in self-defense. An affidavit suggests the driver told the three to rob the house.
