Lawton man accused of lighting own brother on fire

Lawton_A Lawton man is behind bars tonight after police say he lit his brother on fire.  It happened Wednesday morning in the 2400 block of Southwest Jefferson.   The victim, Arron "AC" Floyd, told police his brother, Charley, doused him with gasoline and lit him on fire.   He says it was after a fight over ten dollars.

Parts of the crime scene were scattered across the front of the lawn, and investigators believe that a soda bottle may have contained gasoline.  A lighter was nearby.  What could have been AC's shirt was lying on the ground and appeared to have been torn, or cut, off.  Crushed beer cans littered the lawn.

Police found Charley hiding in an alley.  He was arrested for first-degree arson, and booked into the city jail.  AC was flown to a burn center in Oklahoma City and is in critical condition with burns to 43% of his body.  Investigators say they will present the case to the District Attorney on Thursday.
