Bryan County_The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that 38-year-old Scott Hendley of Durant drowned in Lake Texoma at Lakeside Landing in Bryan County.
At about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, OHP Headquarters recieved a call from a woman who advised authorities that her husband had jumped off of their boat on Lake Texoma. Police say that the woman says her husband went under, and never surfaced.
Lake Patrolman Danny Chaffin and Bryan County Search and Rescue Teams searched the area with no luck, but on Tuesday at about 7 a.m., police were able to locate the man's body.
Hendley's body has been transported to a funeral home in Durant.
