Severe storms in Texoma leave some Altus residents with no power, water

Altus_Severe weather in Texoma left some in Altus and other areas without power.

Officials say most of the city remains without power or water, and crews worked overnight and into the morning to restore it.  There is not any word yet on when services will be back on.

Meanwhile, authorities are asking residents to stay off the road and conserve water.

If you are one of the residents of Altus or the surrounding area who does not have power or water, and you need help, call 211.  There is also a shelter in altus at the City Gym on Katy Drive. The Red Cross there is offering assistance.
