House fire kills three in Olustee

Olustee_The state medical examiner has released the names of the woman and children killed in a house fire in Olustee Wednesday morning.  The Olustee fire chief says they received a call about 11 a.m. that a house was on fire.  When firefighters arrived, the house was engulfed.  20-year-old Laura Marez and her sons Elijah and Eliasar died from smoke inhalation.

Family members of the deceased live next door and reported the fire. Investigators say the likely cause of the fire was a faulty window air conditioner.  They also say the home had no smoke detectors.
