Third Oklahoman bumped from speaking at Republican Convention

Oklahoma City_A spokesman for Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett says Cornett's speech at the Republican National Convention has been canceled.

Cornett was to speak Wednesday night at the convention in St. Paul, Minn., but instead the Oklahoman reports he's now become the third Oklahoman to be bumped from the podium.

Congressman Tom Cole was to speak Monday and Senator Tom Coburn was to speak Tuesday. The changes were made after most of Monday's opening session activities were canceled due to Hurricane Gustav.

Congresswoman Mary Fallin is still scheduled to speak Thursday night but no official program has been set.
