Inhofe vs. Rice: campaigns soon to duke it out

Oklahoma City_Republican Sen. Jim Inhofe and Democratic challenger Andrew Rice will square off in at least two televised debates.

Campaign officials confirmed Thursday that Inhofe had agreed to debates in Tulsa on Oct. 7 and in Oklahoma City in late September or early October.

Josh Kivett, campaign manager for Inhofe, said final details are being worked out.  He said Inhofe also will join Rice in a forum before a Tulsa chamber group.

Geri Prado, campaign manager for Rice, said the Democratic nominee had agreed to two other debates, but Inhofe declined to participate.
