Post Ike gas prices

Lawton_Folks are still talking about gas prices, now that Hurricane Ike has moved on.  But, here in Texoma, prices aren't too bad.  That's when you compare them to the rest of the country.  People in some states, like North Carolina, have been paying more than $5 a gallon for the stuff.  But, in the Lawton area, prices range from about $3.55 to $3.79.

Meanwhile, Oklahomans have been slow to complain about gas prices post-Ike.  The attorney general says his office has taken only about 8 telephone complaints.  No formal complaints have been filed.  You can check gas prices in your area, right here on our 7News website.  Just click on the Oklahoma and Texas gas price links on our home page.
