2 more plead guilty in Ardmore spanking case

Ardmore_Two men charged with spanking a 19-year-old Ardmore man more than 200 times with a studded belt have pleaded guilty.

Ronnie Morris and Jeremiah McGinnis each pleaded guilty to kidnapping and assault and battery and both were sentenced to six months in prison and three-and-a-half years probation.

A third person charged in the case pleaded guilty earlier this month and was also sentenced to six months while a fourth defendant is due in court in October.

Police say the victim was accused of stealing a check and was given several options for punishment - including the spanking.  Police say they have found no evidence the victim tried to forge a check.
