Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry to hold draft party September 23

Lawton_Press Release_The Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry professional CBA basketball team will hold their 2nd annual draft party for the Continental Basketball Association College Draft Tuesday, September 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. The draft party is open to the public, and everyone is invited to join the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry as the team selects its players.  Fans will  have a chance to win a pair of tickets to one of the up and coming games and they will also have all their information about purchasing your 2008-2009 season tickets.

In attendance will be their new President/General Manager Stacy Johnson-Klein, Vice President Aso Pogi, Head Coach Micheal Ray Richardson as well as members  of the Cavalry Dance Team. "We encourage everyone in the community to come out and be a part of the Lawton-Fort Sill  Cavalry's CBA Draft," states Johnson-Klein.

The CBA Draft will consist of six rounds and is open to all players who have exhausted their college eligibility and were eligible for the NBA Draft this past June. CBA Deputy Commissioner Dennis Truax will serve as the moderator for the CBA Draft with CBA Director of Scouting Mark Argenziano and Director of Player Personnel Jeff Argenziano providing commentary on the Draft.
