Fort Sill to honor soldiers in welcome home ceremony

Fort Sill will honor approximately 45 Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 110th Medical Evacuation Battalion with a welcome home ceremony scheduled for 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20. The ceremony will be held at Goldner Physical Fitness Center.

Media interested in attending must RSVP by calling Emily Kelley at the Public Affairs Office by 4 p.m. Thursday. Gate clearance will be coordinated upon RSVP.

    A Lawton man charged with lewd or indecent acts with a child under 16 has accepted a plea agreement. Dylan E. Ross admitted to police that he sexually abused a four-year-old child on two separate occasions inside of his home this year. Ross will serve 25 years in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections with 5 of those years suspended. He will also have to pay a $1,000 fine and register as a sex offender.
