Lawton_A Lawton convenience store was robbed at gunpoint shortly after 10 Friday morning. It happened at Don's E-Z Shop near 38th and Rogers Lane. Police say the robber went into the store and pulled a chrome 45-caliber pistol on the clerk. They say he then ran toward some nearby apartments. Police searched the area but still haven't found the man. They say he's a black male about 5'8'' to 6' tall and was wearing black.
Less than an hour later, on the other side of town, another Lawton business was held up. This time it was the Dolly Madison Bakery Store in the 1800-block of 11th street. Police tell 7NEWS a man walked into the store, pulled a gun and demanded cash. They say he ran off to the north. He's described as a black male about 6', wearing dark clothing.
